Bypassing Windows Genuine Advantage : Window Media Player 11

Got a couple of tips from this site to install WMP11 on a pirated WinXP.

Can't test it on the first method as the "legitlib.dll" was removed from the server. Maybe can search in at Yahoo or Google search engines.

But I tried the second method and it worked. Did it without the final step (execute unregmp2) as i can't find where the file is.



Here the steps from the site:
1. Extract the WMP11 installer to a directory using Winrar
2. Execute wmp11.exe from the extracted folder, and follow the instruction to install.
3. Execute wmfdist11.exe and follow the instruction to install.
4. Extract wmp11.exe again using Winrar
5. Execute unregmp2 from the wmp11.exe extracted folder.
